A heavy, slow Assault Mech with more armor than any other mech and and could take the blast from a core breach up close. Unfortunately the Mechassault 1 version is a bit under-gunned. Generally the Prometheus variant is preferred, but there were a number of really good Atlas pilots. Dangerous in close, especially when powered up, but weak at a distance with only 2 LRM.
